Ursula Printz Mogensen (1920-1993) came to Sweden in 1939 as a Jewish refugee from Germany. before the outbreak of war in 1939. She became a student of Wilhelm Kage at the Gustavsberg ceramic factory. In 1942 she soon was appointed director of the painting department at Gustavsberg 1951-1954 she worked the Royal Copenhage, Denmark, here she met her future husband Jorgen Mogensen.
In 1954, Ursula opened her own workshop in Denmark, where she worked together with her husband until 1967.
