Beautiful set of 1950s glass, pink with black stripes cased in clear glass made by Glimma Glasbruk (1918-1969), Sweden. Excellent condition. Height of the vase: 10½ inches (26.5 cm). DIameter of bowl: 5 inches (12 cm)

Glimma Glasbruk  was one of many glassworks located in southern Sweden. Glimma Glasbruk primarily homewares - drinking glasses, bowls and the like. - mostly  etched and cut glass
 
As many other Swedish glassworks in the 1960's Glimma started  a production of art glass. The glassworks had associated with two of the most prominent Swedish designers, namely Gunnar Nylund
