Art deco bowl designed by Pierre D'Avesn, France. Mint green pressed glass bowl 
Pierre D'Avesn (1901-1985) had an impressive experience of working with art glass. Already as a 14-year-old for he worked R. Lalique, where he stayed for 11 years. Subsequently, his career was as follows:
1926-30 Own models for Christallierie de Saint-Rémy,
1930-36 Daum Freres.
1937-40 Verlys, 1940- ??
Own models for Christallerie de Pieces de Choisy-le-roy, which was owned by Sevres where Pierre D'Avesn designed glass right up until his death. and
Pierre D'Avesn designed almost exclusively art deco models. This bowl is probably from  around 1940 .
Excellent vintage condition.
