Art nouveau (Danish: skønvirke) pewter ink stand set manufactored by silversmith Mogens Ballin (1871-1914) and Goldsmith H.P. Hertz in Copenhagen Denmark. In 1908 Hertz took over the shop of Mogens Ballin, and he continued the production of the Ballin models using pewter.
The ink well has the original glass insert.
Signed on the back with HB monogram 2019.

Blotter: 5½ x 3 x 2.7 inches (14 x 8 x 7 cm).
Excellent vintage condition.
